Slot Name: Hillbillies Cashola
USA Players: Accepted
The modern version of RTG’s Hillbillies, Hillbillies Cashola sports 3D graphics and more animations than the original title, but whether or not they did a good job with them I’ll let you find out from the review below. The slot gets the same combinations of 5 reels with 20 win lines as the first slot from the series. The game remained basically the same feature wise, and even the prizes go up to the same $25,000.
As expected, Hillbillies Cashola is playable in the United States, same as the first slot that RTG released with this theme.
Betting & Jackpots
All the betting options you need to use are located at the bottom of the screen, while the displays are at the top, so you will have to look up to see what bet you’re using. You have the option to wager $0.01 to $5 for each payline, that being the coin denomination as well. You can end up with bets of up to $100 for each spin.
The slot’s top rewards will normally give you only 250 coins if you get five matching symbols. However, there are three wilds which can be part of it and which will apply multipliers, taking it to 5,000 coins ($25,000 cash).
The most important three symbols in this game are the ones which show us the hillbilly family. There is the farmer, his daughter and his son. Each one gets his own reel (1st, 3rd and 5th, respectively) and his own multiplier. A 2x multiplier is offered whenever the Farmer wild contributes to a combination, while the Daughter applies another one at 2x and the son a 5x multiplier. These multiplier add up and can take the wins up to 20x the original value.
The wild symbols act as scatters as well, and getting at least two of them to appear will result in a payout of 2x to 10x the bet, plus access to free spins.
The free games feature has 8 rounds for you, with all prizes being multiplied by 2x, and that’s before wilds get a chance to contribute as well. If the hillbilly family appears on the reels during the free spins, they offer payouts of 2x to 5x the bet.
This being the modern version of the original Hillbillies slot machine, the graphics are now 3D and there are even animations included in the game, even when you’re not spinning the reels. The images are the same ones, but modern now, with the family members, with dogs, pigs, rickety houses and moonshine bottles.
It’s the exact same game in most ways, the graphics being the only ones that have changed. If you enjoyed the original, and you want to try out the modern version as well, give Hillbillies Cashola a chance.
